The City of Ann Arbor has set the goal of being carbon neutral by 2030, which includes fully decarbonizing City buildings and creating resilience hubs across the community. To guide this work, the City is seeking a professional consultant ("Consultant") to conduct an assessment and create a decarbonization roadmap for seven municipal buildings: Bryant Community Center, Burns Senior Center, Cobblestone Farm, Green Baxter Court Community Center, Veteran's Memorial Park and Ice Rink, Fire Station 6, and Wheeler Service Center (each a "Facility"). The decarbonization assessment must be completed by June 30th, 2023 and include specific details regarding energy efficiency, electrification, onsite renewable energy and energy storage systems, as well as other actions that the City should implement to achieve carbon neutrality at the six identified Facilities.
