Mechanicstown Fire District in Orange County, NY is soliciting bids on the installation of overhead doors and door openers at 22 Victory Street, Middletown, NY 10940. Questions: Any questions on any information in the bid documents can be sent to the District's secretary at preynolds@mechanicstownfd.org with the following in the subject line: "overhead door bid" Submission of electronic bids is not permitted and will be declared void and rejected. No decisions need be made on that date. Decisions will be made prior to December 30, 2022. Bids must be firm for ninety (90) days. If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of specifications or other issues, he may submit to the Mechanics town Fire District a written request for interpretation or correction thereof. Requests to be given consideration must be received at least three (3) days prior to the Bid Date. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. Any interpretation of the proposed document will be made by Addendum only, duly issued, and a copy will be mailed or delivered to each person receiving a set of documents not later than 48 hours prior to Bid Date. Mechanics town Fire District will not be responsible for any other explanation or interpretation of the proposed document.
