Per the owner, as of August 16, 2024, an award has been made for this solicitation. The owner states that a timeline for construction has not been determined. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ................ The City of Sunnyvale invites proposals from qualified firms to complete a study to evaluate the removal of a travel lane in both directions on Tasman Drive between Fair Oaks Avenue and Lawrence Expressway to install pedestrian and bicycle facilities. The successful proposer shall have previous experience with bicycle planning, public outreach, and analysis projects of similar complexity and scale for this project. The selected Proposer will be expected to deliver high-quality services and products, develop professional meetings and web-ready graphics, and work cooperatively with City staff, and stakeholders throughout the Project. The City also encourages consultant firms to propose alternative approaches that introduce innovative, higher quality or impactful results, and cost savings. The consultant shall perform all tasks and project management-related work necessary to complete the project. Consultant services shall include but are not limited to: project management, City document and project history review, geometric survey, data collection including traffic, bicycle and pedestrian counts and speed survey, level of service analysis, traffic capacity and queueing analysis, traffic safety analysis, corridor and intersection observations, concept plan development, public outreach, and report and presentation of final results and recommendations, as further detailed in Attachment A, the Detailed Scope of Work.
