To furnish all labor and materials necessary for weatherproofing and exterior wall restoration at Dougherty County Health Department, 1710 South Slappey Blvd. Albany, GA 31701. A. Refer to project Diagrams, as well as remainder of project manual for additional requirements. B. Exterior Cleaning: 1. Clean building exterior. C. Existing Walls, General: 1. Remove and replace existing exterior perimeter louver sealants. 2. Remove and replace existing exterior wall penetration sealants. Seal existing penetrations with no existing sealant. D. Existing Windows: 1. Remove and replace existing exterior perimeter window sealants. 2. Wet glaze existing exterior perimeter window. E. Existing Brick and Stone: 1. Remove and replace existing brick joint sealants. 2. Repoint existing exterior brick and stone. F. Existing Building Expansion Joints: 1. Replace existing expansion joints with new exterior expansion joints. G. Painting: 1. Paint existing steel lintels. 2. Paint exterior doors, soffits, and other previously painted exterior materials. H. Water Repellents: 1. Install new siloxane sealer over prepared substrates This project will be bid on a base bid basis for all specified work and will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder submitting the lowest bid. The bid form is contained in the bid documents. 5% Bid Bond is required of all bidders. Bid bond must be present for bid to be read or considered. A Contract Performance Bond, and Labor and Material Payment Bond each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount will be required of the successful bidder.
