Renovation of a fire / police facility in Albany, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 15,000-square-foot fire / police facility.

To furnish all labor and materials necessary for replacement of approximately 15,000 square feet of flooring at Dougherty County Police Department located at 2106 Habersham Road Albany, GA 31701. Questions received after this deadline may not be answered. Scope of Work 1. Move furniture as needed to complete the project. Details will be discussed during the pre-bid meeting. 2. Remove and dispose of existing carpet and any existing cove base. A. If walls are damaged, Contractor shall repair the walls before the end of the project. 3. Prepare substrate for application of new luxury vinyl plank and cove base. 4. Install luxury vinyl plank and cove base in the specified areas. The successful bidder shall provide samples of selected manufacture LVP. Color and pattern to be selected by Dougherty County Facilities Management. Acceptable manufacturers- Mohawk, Armstrong, or Shaw. 5. Luxury Vinyl Plank shall be glued down, commercial grade with a minimum wear layer of 28 mil and a minimum thickness of .7 mm or higher. LVP is to include a protective topcoat and be rated for commercial traffic. Glue shall be applied to the subfloor or existing VCT (if level) and the tiles laid on top and clicked together to form a solid walking surface. Any unlevel surfaces shall be leveled by the CONTRACTOR before installation of LVP.
