The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Provide all labour and materials to perform the work as indicated on the drawings and as described herein to the best standards of the industry and in accordance with Local Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements. .2 Obtain all licenses, permits and approvals to perform the work under this contract. .3 Provide protection of building, equipment and systems from all work performed under this contract. .4 Provide for clean-up of all areas during and at the completion of work. .5 Provide for all heavy lifting equipment operations and safety requirements. .6 Building will be occupied during regular working hours. Therefore, all work shall be executed in such a manner as to provide minimum interference with the use of the existing premises by the occupants and provide maximum safety of the occupants during the work period. .7 Provide all training, start-up reporting and close-out documentation. .8 Provide user training and Operations and Maintenance Manuals. .9 All work shall be done in accordance with all codes and standards related to the work being executed under this contract, including but not limited to: - National Building Code of Canada (NBC) - 2015. - National Plumbing Code of Canada (NPC) - 2015. - CSA-Z317.13.22 Infection Control During Construction, Renovation, and Maintenance of Health Care Facilities. .10 Provide for cutting, patching of existing floors and walls as required to permit the installation of new drainage as indicated on drawings. .11 Remove existing elevator sump pumps and controller. .12 Provide and install new elevator sump pumps, controllers and piping as noted in the drawings. .13 Provide all cutting and patching as required. Repair damaged surfaces to match existing including painting. Provide firestopping where fire rated walls are penetrated (if applicable). .14 Provide and Install new electrical as noted on Electrical Drawings. .15 The Hosptital will be handling the Infection Control for the project. The Contractor to coordinate with the Hospital and follow all Infection Control procedures designated by the Hospital. Documents are available through the Construction Association of NB.
