The City of Greer is seeking sealed proposals for its City Park Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Renovation project. The objective of this project is to alter the topography of several locations around City Hall and areas within the boundaries of Greer City Park to safely and adequately provide Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant access to the park for both parking and pedestrian traffic. There are five (5) distinct sections being impacted and altered: Section 1 - The sidewalk located at the parking lot below City Hall. The sidewalk will be saw cut, excavated, graded, and replaced to include bollards and detectible warning surface in accordance with the attached design documents. Section 2 - The upper field between the fountain and City Hall. A concrete pathway with ground lighting will be installed. Section 3 - The mulch pathway near the Jason Street entrance to the park off of Cannon Street. This portion will require the mulch pathway to be removed and graded to install a concrete pathway in accordance with the attached design documents. This section will also require five acorn lighting fixtures to be installed and handicap accessible parking along the entrance off of Jason Street. Section 4 - Existing parking area on Jason Street. This area will require proper grade changes for the installation of new accessible parking, loading zones, signage, and a sidewalk to mulch road. Section 5 - Sidewalk and parking lot that services the pavilion. This area's sidewalk and pavement are to be saw cut and demolished, then replaced with ADA compliant access for both parking and pedestrian traffic.
