The Department of Assets & Infrastructure, Public Property Division, recently upgraded the parking access control system for the One Montgomery Plaza Garage in Norristown, PA. Currently, the rolling gates in the garage are not compatible with this new system and therefore will require replacement. It is the intent of this specification for Montgomery County to Contract with a vendor to furnish and install two (2) new insulated rolling doors complete with a Photoeye Safety System. Removal and hauling away existing rolling doors, motors, guides, counterbalance tube, and all other debris must be included. Questions Due Date: Dec 6th 2022, 1:00 PM EST PURPOSE It is the intent of this specification for Montgomery County to Contract with a vendor to furnish and install two (2) new insulated rolling doors complete with a Photoeye Safety System. Removal and hauling away existing rolling doors, motors, guides, counterbalance tube, and all other debris to be included in the lump sum price. All costs, including shipping, are to be incorporated in bid amount. No additional fees, surcharges, costs or expenses will be billed to or paid by the County of Montgomery. SPECIFICATION Remove and dispose the existing rolling steel doors, guides, counterbalance tubes and all debris. Supply and install (2) new steel, insulated rolling doors, guides, curtain, counterbalance tubes and hood. Doors shall be weather stripped and prime painted. Doors shall have a Photoeye Safety System. Door rough openings are 18'0" wide by 9'6" and the other is 18'0" wide by 7'9"
