Renovation of a mixed-use development in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

This contract is intended to provide for the equipment and installation of video surveillance systems at the Woonsocket Police Department, Woonsocket City Hall, and the Department of Public Works' (DPW) River Street facilities. The three (3) locations for these devices are contained within the bid documents. A Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000), payable to the City of Woonsocket, must accompany each proposal. The Certified Check or Bid Bonds will be returned to all but the successful bidder upon execution of the contract. The Certified Check or Bid Bond of the successful bidder will be returned upon acceptance of a Performance and Payment Bond by the City. In accordance with RI General Law 37-13-7 contracts in excess of $1,000 shall require compensation based on prevailing wages for construction, alteration and/or repair. Painting or decorating. The Finance Department, through its Director, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or proposals; to waive any technicality to any bid or part thereof submitted; to accept any bid or option or comparison thereof; to contract in part or in whole; and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Woonsocket. No bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the actual time and date of the bid opening thereof.
