This project constructs a single story building with structural masonry envelope with steel substructure and structural slab with pile foundation. Roof will be standing seam on insulated deck over light gauge steel trusses in academic and administrative areas. High bay operational trainer area will be standing seam on insulated deck over a moment frame system. The facility is divided into three functional spaces; Academics, Simulator Bay, and Administrative functions. Academics will contain all spaces related to training and student services. The Simulator Bay is a high-bay space containing 18 simulators. Administrative will contain all spaces needed for simulator operation and maintenance as well as instructor administration. Facility-related control systems include cybersecurity features in accordance with current DoD criteria. Paving and site improvements include grading, parking facility, roadways, curbs, sidewalks, landscaping, mechanical equipment pad, dumpster pad and exterior signage. Electrical utilities include primary and secondary distribution systems, outside lighting, transformers, and telecommunications infrastructure. Mechanical utilities include sanitary sewer lines, storm water lines, potable and fire protection water supply lines, and chilled water lines. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
