All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid deposit in an amount that is not less than five percent (5%) of the value of the bid. Bids will be publicly opened after the submission deadline. Insurance coverage is required at the time of award.The Town of Ashland assumes no liability for proposals mistakenly opened due to improperly labeled envelopes and will return same to bidder without notice.The Town of Ashland reserves the right to reject any or all bids which are not responsible and/or responsive, in whole or in part, as deemed in the best interest of the Town and to waive minor informalities, in accordance with the provisions of MGL Chapter 149, 44A, et seq. and the provisions of MGL Chapter 30, 39M. Prevailing wage rates do apply.Award will be based on the lowest offered price for the term of the contract as submitted by a firm meeting all required qualifications and submitting a fully qualified bid in accordance with the bid specifications and instructions.The Towns of Ashland is an Equal Opportunity Employers. The selected firm for each service is expected to provide these services to the Town for a period of three (3) years with the possibility of two 1-year extensions.
