The Town of Blackstone, Virginia is soliciting a Statement of Qualifications from qualified firms for airport planning and engineering services on an "as needed" basis for miscellaneous projects including updating the Town's Airport Layout Plan, designing various capital improvement project and assistance with preparation of materials in support of applications for funding.Projects may be funded, all or in part by local funds and Federal and/or State grant funds.Other miscellaneous services involving the Town's airport development efforts may be included in contracts resulting from this request. It is the intent of the Town to enter a oneyear, non-exclusive, general services agreement with the selected firm, renewable for a total of three years. General background and history of the firm; Qualifications and experience related to these types of projects; List of capabilities sufficient to provide timely execution of complete services;Information relative to organization and key personnel to be involved by project type. The Town of Blackstone is an equal opportunity employer. Proposals from minority, female-owned and local firms/individuals are invited.The selected firm and any sub vendors must comply in writing with the provisions of the Virginia Fair Employment Contracting Act and Title VI and Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
