On Call Plumbing Services for City owned facilities/building. Must posses Plumbers License (P1 and/or P2).Contractor will be held to have carefully examined existing buildings and to have made all necessary investigations, to be informed thoroughly and fully as to facilities for delivery of materials and equipment and with floor loading limitations affecting delivery of equipment to and to have informed itself fully as to all difficulties that may be encountered in complete execution of all work.The Contractor will be held to have examined all other data or instructions pertaining to the requirements of the Contract and its General Conditions and the Specifications. No consideration or allowance will be granted for failure to visit the city owned facility/building, or for any alleged misunderstanding of materials to be furnished, or work to be performed, it being understood that when the Bid is delivered to and received by the City of New Haven, such action carries with it an agreement to fully comply with and to fully perform all requirements set forth in the General Conditions and the Specifications as set forth herein. The Contractor may schedule walk-throughs of City owned properties listed in Exhibit No. 1 (weather and time permitting) by contacting the individual(s) listed. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids which do not meet the requirements of a lowest qualified responsible Bidder. Some reasons for rejection include, but are not limited to: altered or qualified Calculation Sheet, a non-Web based Calculation Sheet, non-conforming Bid Bonds, incomplete or erroneous paperwork. Unbalanced High or Low Unit Pricing, and/or not habitually performing with the Bidder's own forces.
