Demolition and site work for a residential development in Ravenna, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
ORDC is administering a grant received by The Portage County Land Reutilization Corporation ( PCLRC ). The PCLRC has received grant funding from the State of Ohio, Department of Development s Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program, to complete roughly 10-15 residential demolition projects within Portage County. The PCLRC will be grouping three (3) residential structures together per Group. Currently, Group A and Group B are being bid out. 1. The structure must be reduced to its foundation. NOTE: No wood, debris, trash or garbage of any kind may be left or covered over. 2. Foundation walls must be completely removed. 3. All underground utility lines and water/sewer lines must be capped and plugged with concrete. 4. Basement floors must be removed and trucked offsite, concrete pads, driveways, sidewalks, etc. Must be removed. A pre bid conference will not be held, if bidders have any questions that they would normally ask at a pre-bid conference, they are encouraged to either call Scott Hillis, (740) 622-0529 or submit via email at Scott@ordevelopment.com . Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to ORDC, or certified check or cashier s check in the amount of 10% of the bid amount. Bid bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. Bids shall be sealed and marked as Bid for Group A or Bid for Group B and mailed or delivered to: Scott Hillis, ORDC Grants Director, 200 Main Street, Annex Building, Coshocton, Ohio 43812. Or emailed to Scott@ordevelopment.com . Attention is called to all the requirements contained in the bid packet including various insurance requirements and the requirements for bid and performance bonds for 100% of the contract price. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
