Anticipated Construction Schedule is April 17, 2023 - June 16, 2023. The Scope of Work shall consist of and is generally described as repairs to correct damaged painted coating and rusted steel to ensure the stadium remains in good working order for the next 5 to 10 years. The existing metal stands at SB Ballard Stadium (Figure 1) were previously repaired and painted in 2009. Work in 2009 included cleaning and repainting the topside of the stands, cleaning and repainting the superstructure supporting the stands, cleaning and repainting the underside (Figure 2) of the risers and treads, and adding reinforcing plates on the backside of the risers. A visual condition assessment was completed in 2022 and the inspector recommended removing surface rust from the topside of the stands and from the repaired areas at the underside of the stands and re-painting with a protective paint system. The overall super structure of the stands does not require cleaning and re-painting. Refer to the Scope of Work paragraph below for project requirements.
