Remodeling of a laboratory facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a laboratory facility.
In general, the work consists of the Upgrades to the facility power and process cooling capacity to support a fusion energy research project. Please Submit Bids to uwsabidsubmissions@uwsa.edu as indicated in the Spec Manual. Upgrades to the facility power and process cooling capacity to support a fusion energy research project. The mechanical upgrades include the addition of a new chiller and a de-ionized stainless steel water system. The electrical system will be upgraded to a 480V system some of which will be installed outside on the face of the existing building. The scope of the architectural work by the GPC includes concrete pads for the equipment and providing the temporary toilet facilities, dumpster, construction trailer (if required), and all lawn restoration and lawn seeding, along with the overall supervision and coordination of the project work effort.
