Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Contract term: 3/24/23 Business entities awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: Sullivan Contracting, 9362 Paris Hill Rd, Sauquoit, NY 13456 Abscope Environmental Inc., 7086 Commercial Drive, Canastota, NY 1303215 Delaware County Department of Public Works (herein referred to as the County) is requesting proposals for the removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials (ACMs) in several residential structures in the Town of Sidney NY. This project is being financed with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds administered by the NYS Governor's Office of Storm Recovery (GOSR). Attention of bidders is particularly called to Section 3 requirements, M/WBE goals, Federal labor standards, Federal and State prevailing wage rates, online reporting requirements using Elation System, Inc. and other requirements included in the GOSR Supplementary Conditions for Contracts. Proposals shall be submitted on bid forms which are available for inspection and obtainable at the Office of the County Commissioner of Public Works, Page Avenue, Delhi, New York 13753. Detailed specifications are contained in the said forms. The Delaware County Department of Public Works, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 US. C.2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
