Harriman State Park needs evaluation of five existing septic systems, the associated components, and drain fields for condition evaluation. Once systems are assessed we will need engineering and design services to address the septic system deficiencies. The park also has a spring fed domestic water system that run approximately four miles through the park. We will also be seeking engineering and design services to address failing water supply lines that are associated with the domestic gravity fed spring water system that feeds the facilities throughout the park. IDPR is requesting Qualification Statements for complete design services including observation during construction. A total preliminary project budget of $1,000,000 has been established to include fees, reimbursables, construction, contingencies, tests and other project related expenses. A relatively complete construction cost estimate will be required following the Schematic Design Phase and must be updated at each additional phase.
