The Town of Fort Erie is soliciting quotations from qualified, experiences sign fabricators for the design, supply and installation of one (1) electronic sign to be installed in place of a new, 2-sided, full colour LED electronic sign board. The existing board located at 1 Municipal Centre Drive shall be removed and disposed of by the contractor. The new board will optimize the space available in the structure (approx. 4.5 feet high by 12 feet wide). The new electronic sign must include; a minimum 10mm pixel pitch, video up to 30 FPS, automatic dimming capabilities, fully encapsulated modules, fan driven ventilation and an ambient temperature sensor. Supply a minimum warranty period of one year for labour and two years for software and the operating system. The contractor also shall supply a minimum 5-year parts warranty and a 10 years parts availability guarantee. The installation will include the 2 new electronic sign boards, high and low voltage wiring by qualified technicians, installation of cloud-based graphics software, communications, commissioning and staff training. The contractor will be responsible for crane, lift and or hoist costs and removal and disposal of the old signs, including tipping fees.
