State Project Number 75HA0049 B-23 Operational Enhancements at Minnesota Veterans Home - Hastings This project is Targeted Group/Economically Disadvantaged/Veteran-Owned preference. This Project has a 4% Targeted Group, Economically Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (TG/ED/VO) subcontracting goal. See Division 00 73 39 for requirements.> A. The work will done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, and Electrical construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1.) Phase 1: Renovation and relocation of Nurse Station with new electrical, mechanical, and architectural fixtures. 2.) Phase 2: Renovation of newly vacated nurse station to a new fitness center with mechanical and electrical work. 3.) Phase 3: Renovation and installation of new kitchen equipment with associated mechanical and electrical work. Installation of new trayline and updated finishes. This solicitation includes qualification requirements. Attachment C of the Response Form contains the qualification requirements for the solicitation. Qualification requirements include, but are not limited to: Responding company has completed as a Prime Contractor, not as a subcontractor, the work for at least 3-4 contracts which have achieved Substantial Completion since 2015 for construction of interior remodeling that includes multiple trades including mechanical and electrical coordination. Each of these contracts MUST have had a construction value of $500,000 or greater. The contractor must have experience in developing and executing a disruption avoidance plan to ensure construction activities do not significantly impact the owner or residents that will occupy the building during construction.
