Work includes: Roof: o The EPDM membrane roof at the annex portion of the building installed in 1993 is beyond its expected performance lifetime and will be replaced. o Bid pack #1: Replace EPDM membrane roof at annex portion of building with Built Up Roof (BUR) o Repair and replacement of portions of the ca. 1912 metal roofing panels of the central cupola-like dome and four corner tower domes. Work also includes associated architectural features, masonry at the base of the center dome, and metal architectural details of the small north porch roof. o Bid pack #2: Roof work at historic domes to include replacement of sheet metal, installation of membrane, repair, repainting and reinstallation of historic decorative pieces. Repair work at balustrade of north roof to include repair/replacement of balusters and rails. o Bid pack #3: Masonry repointing work at base of center dome. Interior: o Repair of damaged plaster and paint materials, which have been impacted by moisture from roof leaks, moisture/humidity, and the failure of previous repairs. o Bid pack #4: Interior work to include repair of damaged plaster and paint.
