PN- 130-137-007 (4TH ST) Mill & Overlay approximately 1.19 miles of residential collector streets. 4th St from Prairie St to Hwy 61, River St from CSAH 42 to 4th St, 15th St from west end to General Sieben Dr, Seton Ct, and Steeple Ln from O'Connell Dr to General Sieben Dr. No bid will be considered unless filed ONLINE with the bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid as a guarantee that the bidder will enter in to a contract to perform said work. These bid bonds of the three lowest bidders will be retained until a contract has been awarded and signed by all concerned, but no longer than 60 days. All others will be returned within 7 days after the opening of bids. There is no pre-bid meeting for this project. Bids are for furnishing all work and materials for construction of S.A.P. 130-137-007, also known as 2022 Mill & Overlay Program. The project consists of milling (2") and overlaying 1.19 miles of residential collector streets with spot concrete curb replacement, spot replacement of rings and castings on manholes and catch basins, providing truncated domes on sidewalk pedestrian ramps, sidewalk replacement and pavement striping. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications on file. Major construction quantities include: 24,851 SY of Mill Bit Pavement (2"), 3,007 Ton of Bit Street Paving, 996 LF of B618 Concrete Curb & Gutter, 21 Pedestrian Ramps (Truncated Domes), 32 Adjust Rings & Castings, 1,743 LF Pavement Markings The City Council will consider award of contracts at their regular meeting to be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 101 4 th Street East, Hastings, Minnesota or online platform via Zoom should the COVID-19 pandemic require the social distancing protocols.
