Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Kirksville, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The Project consists of removing the old wooden bridge and construction of a 60-foot long x 24- foot steel girder bridge with concrete abutments, concrete deck, and bolt-on steel railing. The project will utilize 10 diameter x 5/8 wall pipe for piling, galvanized steel girders, and corrugated metal decking furnished by Adair County. All other material shall be furnished by the contractor. The project also includes traffic control items, rock blanket, excavation, embankment, aggregate road surfacing, seeding, fencing, and related appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form Bidding Documents may be examined at the Issuing Office of the Engineer, Howe Company, LLC 804 E. Patton Street, Macon, MO, on Mondays through Fridays. Upon request and receipt of the document fee indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office and www.howecompany.com.
