Description: Umatilla School District #6R seeks modular building The Umatilla School District, the Awarding Authority, invites competitive sealed proposals for the demolition and removal of current modular classroom and design and installation of a manufactured building at the corner of 7th and Sloane. Replacement building shall be compliant with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Manufactured building shall include the following: handicap accessible doorways (interior and exterior), a three (3) phase electrical system, and a tech ready system. The total square footage of the building shall be a minimum of 2,700 square feet with the exterior dimensions not to exceed 70x40 feet. The building shall offer three bathrooms (minimum of two full and one half), a kitchen, a utility room with laundry connections, three exterior doors, one bedroom, one family room, one living room, one retreat space, one dining room and have as much open visibility between spaces as possible. The scope of the work includes engineering design, prefabrication, site, assembly, installation, and all services required to complete and to deliver the building ready for use and occupancy, including any and all associated demolition and removal of current building, site work, excavation, general construction, finishes, mechanical, and electrical work. Work pursuant to this project is subject to the Davis-Beacon Act. Work pursuant to this request for proposals shall begin no earlier than June 15th, 2023 and reach substantial completion no later than August 1st, 2023. All set up and delivery charges shall be rolled into the prices quoted. The project award shall be based upon total price and feasibility of building design for intended purpose of a daycare/preschool space and alternative education location.
