The Summit Hill Heritage Center (SHHC) is seeking bids for electrical work at Summit Hill Heritage Center, 1 W. Hazard Street, Summit Hill, PA 18250. The contract will be funded in whole or in part by a Local Share Account - Monroe County (LSA) grant awarded by the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Financing Authority, and as such the contract must comply with LSA program requirements, including but not limited to the payment of Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates. Owners Engineer will make any and all bids available upon the request of any bidders and/or member of the public. SHHC will offer the contract to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder, taking into account cost and quality of service. The bidder to whom the contract is offered shall be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract value. THE WORK SHALL INCLUDE ALL MATERIAL AND LABOR REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THE ELECTRICAL WORK SPECIFIED AND SHOWN ON DRAWINGS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY ACCESSORIES, PARTS, ETC. FOR A COMPLETE AND OPERATIONAL SYSTEM. The Work Shall Include, But Not be limited to, The following: PANELBOARDS FEEDERS BRANCH CIRCUITS CONNECTIONS TO EQUIPMENT LIGHTING FIXTURES AND LAMPS WIRING DEVICES BOXES TESTING GROUNDING CUTTING AND PATCHING EMOLITION THE WORK SHALL INCLUDE OBTAINING ALL PERMITS, PAYING ALL PERMIT FEES, SCHEDULING ALL REQUIRED INSPECTIONS AND PAYING ALL UTILITY AND INSPECTION FEES. No oral interpretation will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Contract Documents or any part thereof. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made via email to the Owner's Engineer at jbeers@beerseng.com. Any inquiry received by 4:00 PM on December 5, 2022 will be given consideration. Every interpretation made to a Bidder will be in the form of an Addendum to the Contract Documents, which will be emailed to each person who was provided Contract Documents approximately 5 days before Bids are due, but it shall be the Bidder's responsibility to make inquiry as to the Addenda issued. All such Addenda shall become part of the contract and all Bidders shall be bound by such Addenda, whether or not received by the Bidders.
