Cheboygan County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any portion of a proposal in the best interest of the County ARTICLE 1 WORK OF THIS CONTRACT 1. The Contractor shall execute the Work described in the Contract Documents. 1.1 Contract documents shall include the Invitation to Bid, design and specifications, detailed list of equipment to be installed, performance and payment bonds if over $50,000 for total project cost. 1.2 Duties shall be performed in a workmanlike manner. Upon completion of work, the County shall inspect the work and accept the work and ownership of material/ equipment when County is satisfied the work was performed and installed as required under this Agreement. ARTICLE 2 DATE OF COMMENCEMENT & SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION 2.1 The date of commencement is the date this contract is signed by both parties unless stated differently as follows: N/A. 2.2 The date of substantial completion shall be as stated by contractor. ARTICLE 3 CONTRACT SUM 3.1 The Owner shall pay the Contractor for the Contractor's execution of the Work the sum of: $ 3.2 Application and Certification for Payment schedule will be due no later than the 25th day of each month and payment will be within (45) business days from approval of pay application. 3.3 This Contract is based on the detail of HVAC equipment and control, engineering and specifications designed and to be installed as identified in the RFP Document and Bid submitted by contractor attached. Work Scope The projects consist of design, supply and installation of replacement HVAC systems in a portion of the County Building to comply with performance specifications that will provide energy efficient mechanical system replacement to a portion of the Cheboygan County Building. Systems will be designed, replaced and/or added to for energy efficiency. The County identifies the following HVAC system improvements within the buildings are needed: Cheboygan County Building HVAC System Replacement Phase II Replace 4 Trane Air Handlers Model # BWE060C100GA Replace 4 Trane Rooftop Condensers Model # TTA060A300A0 Replace 1 Trane Air Handler Model # BWE090C100GA Replace 1 Trane Rooftop Condenser Model # BTA090C300MB Removal of 1 Liebert Condenser no longer in use. New units should be energy efficient Train Units or equivalent. All electrical, mechanical and plumbing supplies, labor, permits and equipment to complete project shall be included in bid.
