For Professional Traffic Signal Design Services Green Light Go Funding Traffic Signal Upgrades Complete modernization of the traffic signal equipment at the intersection of Laketon Road and Graham Boulevard and the intersection of E. Swissvale Avenue and Walnut Street. MAJOR TASKS: -Base Mapping/Surveying -Traffic Signal Design & Permitting through PennDOT District 11-0 -Meetings -Bidding Documents/Bidding Services -Construction Phase Services -Record Drawings It is anticipated that the selected consultant will be provided the notice to proceed in December, 2022. Design and construction is required to be completed by May 15 th 2025. FORMAT OF PROPOSAL: Consultant must be an ECMS registered business partner. Consultant must document adequate traffic signal experience. Interested Consultants should respond to the following questions: 1. Summarize Consultant's Penn DOT traffic signal project experience {i.e. complete engineering services including design, bid document preparation, and construction surveillance). 2. Summarize work experience of individuals that will be specifically assigned to this project. 3. Summarize Consultant's project understanding and potential project challenges. Consultants are asked to limit their submission as follows: -Letter of Transmittal; - Responses to questions above, no more than 3 pages, single sided, 8.5 x 11; and -Maximum of three (3) Penn DOT ECMS formatted resumes. Do NOT include pricing with this proposal. As required by the Green Light-Go Program, the Consultant will be selected and approved based upon qualifications and responses provided in the Statement of Qualifications. A short list of three (3) Consultants will be selected. A technical and cost proposal will be requested from the highest ranked Consultant. If an agreement on price cannot be reached, then Wilkinsburg Borough reserves the right to proceed to the second firm, and so forth.
