Carteret County Government is seeking proposals to replace sections of the front sidewalk at the Western Park Community Center located at 275 Old NC-58, Cedar Point, NC 28584. The Contractor shall remove and replace sections of sidewalk indicated on the picture below. The Contractor shall remove and remount the ADA door opener located near the front double doors. The Contractor shall remove any unsuitable base material, if required, and backfill appropriately. The Contractor shall pour the new reinforced sections four (4) inches thick level with other slabs with a brushed finish and ensure water sheds away from the building. The Contractor shall dial into adjacent slabs. The Contractor shall verify any and all measurements. Any damages caused by the Contractor shall be the Contractors responsibility to fix or replace at the Countys discretion. Site visits shall be scheduled with POC prior to proposal submission. The Contractor shall obtain the required permits, if required, give all notices to POC, and comply with all laws, ordinances, codes, rules and regulations bearing on the conduct of the work. No time extensions shall be granted or financial consideration given to the Contractor for time or monies lost due to violations of any such ordinance, code, law or regulations that may occur. Contractors must be able to provide current Certificates of Insurance for public liability, property damage, and Workers Compensation. Quotes/bids/proposals will not be accepted after the due date assigned. All contractual terms and conditions will be subject to review by Carteret County and will include scope, schedule, and other necessary items pertaining to the project.
