The term of this contract is 60-calender days for NTP (Notice To Proceed) and purchase order. The awarded Contractor is expected to complete the Contract as timely as possible, regardless of the length of time allowed for completion.Demolish and disposal of the existing metal railing ,Prime and paint with Sherwin-Williams Safety Yellow. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies, and equipment necessary to install a code-compliant metal handrail in Boiler Room #019 in the Main Building.A site visit will be held as stated in the key information sheet. No pre-bid meeting will be held. Although the pre-bid meeting is not mandatory, the site visit is mandatory and requires all prospective bidders to attend. Failure to attend the site visit will deem a submitted bid as non-responsive and will be rejected.Each contractor shall visit the project site and verify existing conditions before submitting a bid. All questions concerning this solicitation shall be directed to the Procurement Officer listed on the key information summary sheet. The contractor shall provide a written warranty agreeing to repair or replace any parts that fail in material or workmanship within two (2) years from date of substantial completion.Contractors shall self-perform a minimum of 10% of the work if, any subcontractor(s) are contracted.
