A timeline or award has not yet been established.** Replacement, cleaning and cement-mortar lining of 4-inch thru 16-inch water mains, replacement of valves, fittings and appurtenances; Replacement of existing galvanized water service lines with new copper pipes, replacement of small residential meter settings and meter vaults, roadway paving, sidewalk restoration, curb and gutter replacement, erosion and sediment control, and maintenance of traffic as required. This project includes U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) Loan Funding.The MBE goal is 16%,The WBE goal is 7% Cost Qualification Range for this work shall be $10,000,000.01 to $15,000,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The work to be done under this Contract shall consist of the following principal items: 1. Approximately 20 +- linear feet of 4-inch diameter DIP water main and fittings. 2. Approximately 180 +- linear feet of 6-inch diameter DIP water main and fittings. 3. Approximately 7,700 +- linear feet of 8-inch diameter DIP water main and fittings. 4. Approximately 950 +- linear feet of 10-inch diameter DIP water main and fittings. 5. Approximately 600 +- linear feet of 12-inch diameter DIP water main and fittings. 6. Approximately 4,000 +- linear feet of 16-inch diameter DIP water main and fittings. 7. Cleaning and cement-mortar lining of approximately 6,000 +- linear feet of 6-inch thru 8-inch water mains. 8. Approximately 1,600 +- linear feet of3/4 and 1 -inch diameter copper tubing, corporation valves, and fittings. 9. Approximately 400 +- linear feet of 1-1/2 & 2-inch diameter copper tubing, corporation valves, and fittings. 10. Various sized valves and fire hydrants; relocation of division valves. 11. Reconnection of water service connections to the new DIP water mains. 12. Disinfection and testing of the new water main, fittings, valves, and appurtenances. 13. Installation of all bypass piping and temporary water services, including but not limited to, hydrant and underground connections, all testing and disinfection requirements, removal of all bypass piping and temporary water services, and restoration after permanent service have been restored. 14. Removal and disposal offsite of all excavated and demolished materials. 15. Clean up and restoration of construction areas. 16. Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) devices and measures. 17. Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) requirements.
