It is the intent of this bid to procure a contract for the striping of highways for the Monroe County Highway Dept The length of the bid will be for one (1) year, commencing January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023. The contract may be renewed annually for up to two (2) additional years, in 12 month increments, if agreeable to both parties and reduced to written form. At any time during the bid period, Monroe County will reserve the right to review all categories bid. Monroe County retains the right to re-bid any category because of poor quality, service or price escalations. Monroe County reserves the right to terminate this bid in whole or in part for the convenience of the County. Notification of termination must be in writing (certifited mail), issued by the Department of Finance. Monroe County reserves the right to award this bid to multiple vendors if necessary.
