The City of East Prairie, Missouri Owner is seeking assistance to provide engineering services for their improvements to an existing park, and it will be necessary for the Owner to have services provided by a qualified Missouri licensed civil engineer. Federal Land and Water Conservation Funds are being used in this project, and all relevant federal, state, and local requirements apply. The Owner desires to select the best-qualified engineering firm through a Request for Qualifications process. The Owner proposes to select and hire an engineering firm that will provide the appropriate technical information to help in making important decisions on actions to best ensure its resident's health, provide for orderly growth and to foster economic prosperity. The City of East Prairie hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry or national origin in consideration for an award. The scope of work will consist of improvements to an existing parking area around the swimming pool, construction of a new ADA compliant restroom facility and parking spaces, and new sidewalks from the pool to the restroom and from the restrooms to the existing pavilions and basketball court..
