Site work and paving for a road / highway in Morse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Town of Morse, Ashland County, Wisconsin is accepting sealed HOT MIX ASPHALT bids for the pulverizing, adding to base, and paving of 2.66 miles of West Lake Drive in the Town of Morse, Wisconsin for a Wisconsin DOT Intermodal/LRIP funded project. Project to be completed during 2023 construction season. Work is to include pulverizing the existing blacktop. Add 4 of base to improve pulverized base. Fine grade, water and compact base to prepare it for placement of hot mix asphalt. Pave with 3 1/2 compacted hot mix asphalt in 2 lifts with SS1H tack coat between layers. Construct a 2 gravel shoulder, 4 deep using 3/ gravel. Road mark painting should also be included for center line only. This project is to be bid using both unit prices per ton of placed hot mix asphalt made from WDOT approved mix design and total project bid cost. The Town Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids.
