Improvement Project 2025 The Ashland County Highway Department will be undertaking a highway improvement projecton County Trunk Highway GG in the Town of Morse, Ashland County, WI. Sealed bids will be received for construction of CTH GG Improvement Project, 2025, in one contract, as follows: o 9,700 Tons of Asphaltic Pavement, Type 4 LT58-34S o 41,600 Square Yards of Asphaltic Surface Milling o 5,100 Gallons Tack Oil o Incidental Items All bids shall be submitted on the forms furnished with the specifications. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid price payable to Ashland County as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within the time set by the County or the bid deposit shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond payable to Ashland County for one hundred (100) percent of the contract price for each of the bonds in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents. The Ashland County Highway Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid they deem in the best interests of the Ashland County Highway Department. This project will be partially funded with WI DOT Local Road Improvement All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
