Contractor agrees to provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and travel for two (2) crews of five (5) members each (total 10 crew members) to clear encroaching brush, maintain highway landscape, restore and/or replace large, distressed areas along the State right of way in the County of San Diego. As required by Executive Order S-02-06, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is committed to meeting the State's 25 percent (25%) Small Business (SB) participation goal. Certified SBs, Micro Businesses (MB) and contractors willing to commit to subcontracting a minimum of 25 percent (25%) of their net bid price to certified SBs or MBs (if applicable) are encouraged to submit bids.
