Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.

The Lake Geneva Utility Commission (OWNER) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Wastewater Treatment Plant - Hauled Waste Receiving Facility Contract 1 2022 The Project includes the following Work: Construction of a new hauled waste receiving facility within the existing Belt Filter Press Building at the Wastewater Treatment Plant to replace OWNERs existing hauled waste receiving facility located remotely within the sanitary sewer collection system. The Work includes demolition of portions of the existing Belt Filter Press Building and surrounding site features to prepare for the new Work; sitework including excavation, buried piping, fill, grading, paving, concrete curb, slab, and sidewalk, chain link fencing, gate, and related electrical and utility work; additions and modifications to the existing Belt Filter Press Building including new concrete floor, masonry walls, doors, hardware, and related plumbing, HVAC, and electrical; new hauled waste receiving system equipment, and related interior piping, instrumentation and controls. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidders maximum Bid price. Bidders shall comply with federal wage rates if Bid Alternative No. 1 is selected by OWNER. The Lake Geneva Utility Commission reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Any Contract or Contracts to be awarded may be funded in part by a loan from the Wisconsin Clean Water Fund if Bid Alternative No. 1 is selected by OWNER. This procurement will be subject to regulations contained in Chapter NR 162, Wisconsin Administrative Code and appropriate State Statutes. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Women's and Minority owned businesses, are encouraged to submit Bids for this Project. Bidders must demonstrate positive efforts to utilize DBEs. This procurement will be subject to regulations contained in NR 162.09(3). Failure to comply could result in disqualification of Bidder and termination of financial assistance or other sanctions identified in NR 162.18 and NR 162.19.
