This solicitation is for the removal and replacement of a roof for The State of Louisiana, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, located at Mound Welcome Center, 836 Interstate 20 Westbound, Tallulah, LA 71282. The job is to be performed in accordance with the enclosed scope of work and specifications. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tool, equipment, and supplies to remove and replace existing roofing from the Mound Welcome Center. For any bid submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, a bid security (insurance company, bank money order, certified check, or cashiers check made payable to State of Louisiana - Department of Culture Recreation and Tourism) must be included with the bidders submission in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including base bid and additive alternates, if any) and shall become the property of the agency in the event the contract and bond are not executed within the time set forth in the bid solicitation. Failure to do so will remove the bid from consideration. Please refer to Attachment A: Special Terms and Conditions page four (4) for complete details of this requirement. A safety wall or partition shall be constructed as necessary to secure work area. All materials and workmanship shall be warrantied for a period of no less than one (1) year.
