Interior Renovation for Shirley Hills Elementary School. 1. Project Location: Shirley Hills Elementary School, 300 Mary Lane, Warner Robins, GA 31088 Project consists of architectural, plumbing, electrical and minor mechanical work associated with an interior renovation of the existing campus Proposal evaluation and scoring by a Houston County School District Committee will occur following the receipt of sealed proposals with results being issued soon thereafter, but not the same day. Each proposal will be evaluated against specified criteria and required submittals to determine the most responsible and responsive firm for this project. The specified criterion is listed as follows; 1. Bid Amount 2. Relevant Construction Experience 3. Project Team Availability 4. Company History 5. Local Participation 6. References Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of [5] percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of [60] days after submission of bids Successful bidder shall begin procuring materials on receipt of the Notice to Proceed (est. January 18, 2023) and shall complete the Work prior to August 1, 2023. Bidder shall submit with the bid form an estimated material procurement timeline along with an estimated construction timeline. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Prior to submission of a proposal, it is strongly encouraged for bidders to evaluate their current and future workload as it relates to the project timelines specified above. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
