Copies of plans and specifications may be obtained online through Lynn Imaging's Plan Room. Hard copies will also be available, if requested, at the contractor's expense. Deco Architects is the Architect of Record for this project, acting as agent for the Owner and acting on the Owner's behalf in soliciting proposals. Successful Bidder will have a Contract directly with the Owner. The Form of Proposal is a part of the front end specifications, which may be obtained online through Lynn Imaging's Plan Room. All bids shall be submitted only on the Form of Proposal and in a sealed envelope. The sealed envelope shall have the Project Names and BG numbers clearly marked, along with the respective bidder's information Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cash, or bidders' bond, executed by the Bidder and Surety Company, IN THE SUM OF NOT LESS THAN FIVE PERCENT (5%) OF THE AMOUNT OF THE BASE BID PROPOSAL for each project. The bid security is required as a guarantee that if the Bid Proposal is accepted, contracts will be immediately entered into and the performance of them properly secured. In order to provide a Complete Bid Proposal, each bidder is required to provide individual Bid Forms for each project. Award of Contracts based on Combined Bid Proposal shall not be considered without properly submitted Individual Bid Forms recorded by the prospective bidder. Separate surety for each project in the Bid Proposal shall be required. Bid Proposal Forms must be properly filled out. No qualifying letters or statements will be considered. No bidder may withdraw a submitted Bid Proposal for a period of sixty (60) days after the date for the Opening of the Bid. In the event the Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded fails to execute a satisfactory Contract and 100% KDE AIA Performance and Payment Bond, they shall be and shall forfeit their certified check, cash, or their Bid Bond and shall be liable for the loss incurred by the Owner by such failure. Any Bid which is not received on a timely basis or in the proper form shall be returned unopened. No Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for this Bid.
