Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 12/21/2022 3:00 PM (PST) The Antelope Valley Transit Authority (AVTA), located in Lancaster, CA, has a public community room that requires a technology upgrade. AVTA requires the boardroom to be equipped with modern-day technology, hardware, and software, lasting a minimum of 12 years from installation. The Antelope Valley Transit Authority is utilizing the Design-Build project delivery method for this upgrade. AVTA is issuing a Request for Proposals for the stated purpose and to ensure Authority receives the highest quality presentation package at the best value possible. The selected firm provides an all-inclusive design and installation as a turnkey package. Firm(s) to include all design, permit, and installation costs, including but not limited to labor, management, supervision, scheduling, equipment, materials, freight, and taxes for this project. The awarded firm shall complete all work within 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The design and installation project is federally funded and requires compliance with all applicable FTA rules and regulations along with City of Lancaster, Los Angeles County, and State of California Departments, including and not limited to Department of Industrial Relations labor codes, rules, and regulations. Bidders must have the ability to comply with all federal wage and staff requirements as well as the Community Workforce Agreement listed in the body of the RFP.
