The Board of Trustees of Highland Park ISD is requesting qualifications for an architect and/or engineer ("A/E") to provide architectural services in connection with the assessment, planning, design and construction of district facilities, throughout completion of a 5-year capital improvement plan (the "Project"). Please note that the District will be closed from December 19, 2022 through January 1, 2023, and hand delivery will not be available during this time. Failure to have a response physically in the possession of the school district by the deadline shall result in the response not being considered. The selection of an A/E shall be in accordance with Texas Government Code 2254.004. Waiver of claims: by tendering a response to the rfq, the a/e acknowledges that it has read and fully understands the requirements for submitting a response and the process used by the district for selecting the most highly qualified a/e. Further, by submitting a response, the a/e fully, voluntarily and understandingly waives and releases any and all claims against the district and any of its trustees, officers, agents and/or employees that could arise out of the evaluation, recommendation or selection of an a/e in response to this rfq. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
