City of Victorville (City) is soliciting a cost quotation from qualified Geotechnical Consultants with ASTM & ACI certified personnel and laboratory(s) for an upcoming federally funded construction project. The submission of a proposal in response to this RFQ may lead to the award of a contract for observation & material testing services for the Guardrail Project in the City. The City is inviting geotechnical firms to submit the Cost Proposal Form included herein according to the itemized list given in the Scope of Services found in Section C of this request for quote package. Any contract awarded as a result of this RFQ will be awarded without discrimination based on race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, or national origin. City of Victorville seeks submittals of Bids to replace and/or upgrade existing guardrails at ten (10) locations and construct new guardrails at three (3) locations, all within the City of Victorville. The work involves removing and replacing guardrail components, constructing guardrails, constructing hot mix asphalt pavement & dikes, minor grading, and associated work as required. The Consultant will be expected to provide daily field reports of construction activities/observations, results of material testing, results of laboratory testing, monthly progress reports, necessary equipment, and certified personnel to complete the Scope of Work identified in Section B. The firm shall be able to present certifications for laboratory, lab technicians and field personnel who perform associated ASTM/ACI sampling, testing and observation procedures.
