The City of Meriden requests proposals from qualified contractors to furnish labor and materials to maintain and repair streetlights in the City of Meriden. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, to award any item, group of items, or total proposal, and to waive informality or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Meriden. The City of Meriden is seeking the services of a qualified street lighting repair and maintenance services contractor to provide complete field maintenance services for the City's street lighting system. The project scope encompasses ongoing streetlight maintenance and repair activities for the City -owned streetlight system with uniform monthly unit pricing, per event pricing for emergency repairs and separate subcontractor markup. The contract term will be three (3) years. Contractors must be skilled and experienced in working with municipalities in Connecticut and possess thorough knowledge of street light installation, repair, and replacement. Contractors must maintain a physical place of business within 75 Miles of Meriden, CT.
