Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

To furnish asphalt roadway resurfacing and pothole repair at the Sand Island State Recreational Area. Asphalt Resurfacing of Roadway Approximately 6 Sections of Damaged Roadway 1. Saw cut to create clean squared joints around areas to be asphalt resurfaced. 2. Remove 2 and half of damaged asphalt in the areas to be resurfaced and compact existing base. All damaged asphalt shall be left in a designated area to be determined by the Parks Program Manager or designee. 3. Make appropriate slope adjustments to prevent ponding of water. 4. If subgrade repairs are required, add additional base rock and compact base to ninety-five (95) percent compaction The bid shall be for the six (6) month period commencing from the Notice to Award with requests for services through the State Purchase Orders. A bond in the amount of the Contract Award shall be required. This bond shall be retained until the DSP Designated Project Manager has determined that all work in conformance with this Scope of Work has been satisfactorily completed The bid award shall be based on the availability of funds. State Parks reserves the right to cancel the agreement with thirty 30 days advance written notice.
