Alberta Agriculture and Irrigationthe requires the services of an Engineering Consultant to undertake a flood control assessment of Bolloque Lake. The services to be provided shall include: 1. Review previous studies, information, drawings, photography, technical reports, construction records, and any additional information related to the project. 2. Assess the relative effectiveness of the existing infrastructure for meeting the original project outcomes. 3. Conduct a site visit to understand the issue related to the current condition of the existing infrastructure and the functional limitations of the site. 4. Conduct a hydrological and hydraulic assessment of the system to assess the flood mitigation performance downstream of the structure and to provide guidelines and outcomes for alternative water management options. GOA will provide LiDAR15 data for no cost. Allocate $20,000 to purchase other LiDAR data, where necessary. 5. Based of the hydraulic capacity assessment of Dapp Creek, present (considering different options/scenarios for Bolloque Structure) the impact of flooding in the vicinity of the Dapp Creek, taking into account potential naturalizing of Ducks Unlimited's structures and other water bodies that drain into Dapp Creek. 6. For the options presented, provide the feasibility and risks, including regulatory challenges and stakeholder opposition, of implementing them and identify any land that may need to be acquired and any other infrastructure that may need to be relocated.
