Supply of a jacking system robust enough to jack the existing Centre Block heritage building with no differential movements. Installation of the jacking system. Jacking the existing building off of its existing foundations and onto temporary structural steel framework. Monitoring and maintaining the jacking system. Jacking the existing building off the temporary structural steel framework and onto the new permanent concrete structure. Removal of the jacking system Supply of monitoring equipment and software: Supply of monitoring equipment that will ensure the building movements remain within tolerances during the jacking operations and during the time the building is building supported on the temporary steel structure. The equipment will be exposed to the weather and to major construction activities (piling, excavation, concrete demolition...) The equipment shall be robust enough to endure the weather and construction activities. Operation and maintenance of monitoring software and data collection. Maintaining the monitoring system and software. Collecting and analyzing data from the monitoring system during both jacking sequences and during the time the building is on the temporary structure. Coordinating and alerting PCL/ED when tolerances are exceeded in real time. Bidders may express their interest in bidding any or all of the above scopes of work.
