As of 2/8/2023 Ella S.A. Contracting, LP was awarded this project. The project includes the construction of approximately 736' of 8"-12" sanitary sewer mains at 16' to 18' deep installed via open cut, including associated manhole replacements, bypass pumping and site restoration to reroute sewer away from quarry wall failure. Access to the site/SS easement will be through a driveway located along the SW Verano Pkwy. SEALED BIDS are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of approximately 736 LF of 8" - 12" sanitary sewer mains installed via open cut, including associated manhole replacements, by-pass pumping and site restoration. See the Electronic Bid Opening Instructions attachment for additional information regarding an electronic bid submittal. Title Electronic bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price. (Or, if providing SAWS with a cashier's check or certified check in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price, SAWS will request this within 24 hours from the apparent low bidder. Sealed bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud by Contract Administration via WebEx.
