City of Cottonwood Administrative Services Department Purchasing Division 821 N. Main Street Cottonwood, Arizona 86326 Notice is hereby given the City of Cottonwood (City) is accepting bids, with the intention of entering into a contract with a qualified contractor, to conduct inspections of potable water storage reservoirs. All bids must be received by the bid due date and time, as listed above, in order to be considered for selection. At the listed due date and time, all bids received and properly labeled shall be opened and the name of each bidder and the amount of the bid shall be read. It is the sole responsibility of the entity submitting a bid to ensure their bid is received by the bid due date and time. Late bids will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Bid's faxed or emailed to the City shall also not be accepted. There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference for this solicitation. The selection of a vendor will be based on the lowest responsible and responsive bid. The City reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid and to reject any or all bids in whole or in part with or without cause and/or to accept the bid that, in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any conditional bid and will normally reject those which make it impossible to determine the intent of the bid. All bidders must fully understand the all inclusive nature of the Citys work scope request and must therefore structure their bid to eliminate contingency pricing. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
