Renovation of a multi-residential development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% The work to be done under this Contract consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and other incidental items as required, but is not limited to do the following: 1. Piping in Buildings: a. For Buildings #1, 2, 3 & 7: Existing gas service from street to building to remain. Provide new gas mains and risers piping. New piping shall be from and including new meter rig, meter bars and inlet and outlet valves (existing to be removed) downstream of existing building shutoff valve, two elbow swing from main to riser takeoff, the lockable riser control valve in the cellar (including new left and right coupling on riser side of valve) and up to the top floor, including all piping supply to the gas ranges existing on each floor, branches, two elbow swing, stop cocks, flexible connector, etc. New gas risers piping shall be installed exposed in the apartment kitchens, except where otherwise indicated. For Buildings #5 & 8: Existing gas service from street to building below grade to be abandoned in place. All exposed piping and existing gas meters shall be removed. Provide new gas service and connect to new gas service for new boiler/hot water heaters (new gas service for new boiler/hot water heaters filed under separate contract application by Rand Engineering). Provide new gas meters for cooking on the outside of the building next to new gas meter for new boiler/hot water heaters. Provide new gas meter rig, meter bars and inlet and outlet valves. New gas meters assembly and piping shall be located on a concrete pad with gate enclosure. New concrete pad and gate enclosure to be installed under boiler/hot water heater contract. Size of concrete pad to be approximately 5'-0" x 14'-0"and is to be coordinated with L & J and Rand Engineering prior to installation. New piping shall enter building at the cellar level. Provide new building lockable shutoff valve at new piping POE. Provide new gas mains and risers piping downstream from new piping POE, two elbow swing from main to riser takeoff, the lockable riser control valve in the cellar (including new left and right coupling on riser side of valve) and up to the top floor, including all piping supply to the gas ranges existing on each floor, branches, two elbow swing, stop cocks, flexible connector, etc. New gas risers piping shall be installed exposed in the apartment kitchens, except where otherwise indicated. b. Existing mains and branches in cellars, pipe access spaces, crawl spaces, etc. that is taken out of service shall be removed. c. Where existing gas risers are exposed in apartment kitchens and other locations, remove the existing riser and provide new riser in the same location
