The project includes and is not limited to: the removal of original boiler and hydronic heating elements, procurement of equipment, construction of new drywall soffits, installation of new electric HVAC system, installation of smoke dampers and sensors connected to existing fire alarm panel, installation of makeup air fan systems and sensors, sheet metal, roofing, dry wall and plywood patching and painting to affected areas, plumbing and electrical alterations as needed per the plans and specifications. the existing boiler heating system is being replaced and upgrade toan electrical variable refrigerant flow and fan coil unit system. A. Work comprises of the construction of County's Corte Madera Library HVAC Improvements Project located at 707 Meadowsweet Dr., Corte Madera, CA 94925. The work includes, without limitation: 1. Remove existing boiler, baseboard heaters, fin tubes, and associated pipes. 2. Remove roof top air vents. 3. Remove select lights and gyp board side face as indicated on the drawings. 4. New VRF and concrete pad 5. New fan coil units per plans 6. New fresh air intake vents in wall and on roof 7. Expand select number (6) of light soffits to allow for new fan coil units and associated conduits 8. New electrical conduits and power runs to support new HVAC system. The Engineer's estimated cost for the accomplishment of this work is $350,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
